Completed Project: Angelina College -Administration Building Renovations
Located in the heart of Lufkin, Angelina College opened its' doors in 1968. With over 50 years of providing exceptional education, the GLS team has been a proud partner in providing state-of-the-art facilities for the entire campus since the school's inception. GLS is pleased to be able to partner with Angelina College once again to renovate the Administration Building.
Renovations focused on the President's Suite and the Board Room creating a more refined space. Walnut paneling now covers the board room and entry vestibule, as well as having an appearance in the President's office as a featured wall. A mini catering kitchen is now available to service meetings. Overall, the 3,000 SF space has been reconfigured and received all new finishes.
Space on the second floor was renovated to provide a suite of offices to house Academic Affairs. The existing space was configured to better suit the needs of the department. The finishes were updated to blend with the existing finishes that remained.
"The overall palette is neutral, warm and timeless yielding a stately collegiate ambiance that will serve them well for many years to come." - Tamesha Root, Interior Designer
Construction began in September 2021 and was completed in March 2022.
