Construction Update: Axley & Rode New Facility - Lufkin, Texas

A company whose history dates back to 1949, Axley & Rode began with a small office in Lufkin, Texas housing the original partners, Branch L. Axley and Carl F. Rode. Today, they have established 14 partners and firms located in Nacogdoches, Livingston and Jasper. Continuing their expansion, A&R chose to build a new facility in Lufkin to better serve their clients. Our team was selected for the project.

Construction began in 2021. The framing is almost finished, and once completed the facility will house:

  • 25 Offices

  • 3 Conference rooms

  • A pair of Gang Restrooms, plus 2 single toilet rooms

  • 4 Open office areas accommodating 39 cubicles

  • Lobby and reception area

  • Breakroom

  • Port Cochere

  • 1 Large training / meeting room

  • Support staff area for 8 assistants

The 14,647 SF building is scheduled for completion for the Fall of this year. The interiors will be light, airy and open with a color palette consisting of shades of charcoal gray and "grass green" matching the Axley & Rode Logo/ The perimeter of the facility will be lined with the Partner Offices that surround open office cubicles. We have implemented the use of storefront glass/doors that mimic steel windows and doors for each of the partner offices. An additional highlight of the building's design is the exterior which will be made of ground face 4" x 16" Salt and Pepper CMU, complemented by a charcoal elongated brick and natural cast stone.
