New Office Location - Waco, Texas

Over 200 businesses opened in the City of Waco in 2023 and celebrated their grand openings with the Chamber of Commerce - and we are proud to be one of those businesses! After starting out with a modest staff in Lufkin, Texas in 1983, we opened offices in Bryan/College Station (2002), Groesbeck (2011), Tyler (2016) and most recently Waco! We are incredibly excited for our regional growth and that of our staff which is nearly 100 members!

In September of 2023 we began setting up operations in the heart of downtown Waco and hosted the Waco Chamber of Commerce for a ribbon cutting ceremony on November 14th. Several members of GLS' Board of directors including Larry Lasiter, P.E., John Rusk, P.E., Mark Strong, AIA, RID, Hudson Henderson, RA, and Courtney Kelly, RA attended the ribbon cutting along with Kirk Raymond, RPLS, Michael Peterson, RPLS, Heather Sanders, SIT, Jennifer Sitton, RA, RID, several other members of the GLS staff, City of Waco staff and Chamber of Commerce members.

Currently run and operated by our Central Texas Survey Director Kirk Raymond, RPLS, the office provides Engineering Design and Land Surveying services to Waco and surrounding areas. With over 40 years of experience in surveying, Mr. Raymond brings extensive knowledge and insight to clients in the areas of boundary, construction, oilfield, transportation route, design/topographic surveys and aerial mapping projects.
